卌卌卌丨日期和時間，
喺日復日既工作裏暫停了運作。

意識，或有或無意地驅動身體，
由左至右，上至下，
抺和擦，來來回回。

喺唔知第幾星期，清理緊唔知啲咩，
唔知負責清理既係邊個。

The passage of time reduced to mere numbers,
in the humdrum of daily chores.

From left to right, from top to bottom,
muscles move of their own accord,
to wipe and to clean.

A man with no name,
continue to sweep and scrubs.

In a rapidly developing society, individuals work tirelessly, often beyond conventional limits. As artificial intelligence approaches and surpasses human learning capabilities, the boundaries of human identity in relation to AI are in constant flux.

“Week 59 Project” reflects the persistent efforts of cleaners who continuously maintain our urban environments, removing societal “trash”. How does the machinery of urban life recognise such contributions – visible or invisible?

After 59 weeks of work, what lost and what left?

The "Cleaner" is brought to life as an immersive 3D animation, in a continuous sequence, gradually revealing the human side of the "Cleaner". At times, lagging images will be displayed, highlighting the potential for individuality. The exhibition's objective is to establish non-physical, ideological connections with the audience.

During the experience, audience enter HKBU Koo Ming Kown Exhibition Gallery through entrance located in 1/F near to the snack bar's trash bin, so that passersby at the snack bar will also catch a glimpse of the cleaner diligently working with their head down through the glass door. This perfectly reshaped some unnoticed aspects of daily life amidst a busy lifestyle—specifically, a cleaner who works quietly.
